Dr Wole Oduntan

Chairman, Black Farmers Network Canada

Dr. Wole Oduntan is a Canadian family physician, healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than three decades of professional and leadership experience across Nigeria, South Africa, and Canada. His career combines medicine, organizational leadership, business management, and a strong commitment to community development. He holds qualifications in Medicine and Surgery, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Health, and Business Administration. His leadership experience includes founding and serving in senior executive and medical leadership roles across several organizations. As Chairman of Black Farmers Network Canada (BFN), Dr. Oduntan provides strategic leadership focused on strengthening the organization and creating practical opportunities for Black farmers to grow, collaborate, and prosper. His commitment to BFN includes making available more than 42 acres of property and a large animal barn for the use and development of BFN farmers. He is passionate about building a sustainable agricultural network that advances food production, knowledge sharing, agricultural entrepreneurship, economic opportunity, and generational impact within the Black community.
