Biolu Isola is the Founder and Executive Director of the Black Farmers Network (BFN), a practicing farmer, and an agribusiness professional. He is also a co-founder of Resolve Farms, an Ontario-based farming enterprise focused on the commercial production and distribution of culturally relevant crops. His hands-on experience in farming, production, and market development gives him practical insight into the opportunities and challenges facing emerging and established Black farmers. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Communication and an Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, together with international certifications in Health, Safety, and Environment. He also works as a Senior Health and Safety Professional. At BFN, he works with farmers, industry stakeholders, institutions, and partners to expand access to land, agricultural knowledge, infrastructure, markets, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities. His goal is to create practical pathways for agricultural participation, entrepreneurship, market access, and long-term prosperity. His vision reflects BFN’s guiding principle: “Growing Heritage; Creating Prosperity.”
